The great Johnson whitewash

I cant see what the problem is. Many's the time I've come home and found some kind person has paid to have rooms decorated for me. You lot are just conspiracy nuts.
 
I reckon Johnson could stab babies in the street at the moment and the worst reaction would be a collective national ”tut” followed by a rolling of eyes.

Johnson and Gove were the figureheads of Vote Leave. The high court passed down a judgment which said that there was enough evidence of lawbreaking to have the referendum result overturned, if it had been binding. Of course it was decided by the government to make it non binding. The evidence still stood.
The technicality was, that being non binding the judgement couldn’t be made.
The result of that “vote” will lead to more serious repercussions than any vote/election ever. Because we won’t be able to change it in any future 5 year period.
For me that to some extent that ticks the last box

The only people that deserve this Tory party are those that voted for it and that includes the charlatans that pretend through dishonest and misguided mitigation that they were voting for a local tory MP but not Johnson. Those people have propagated the mess we are in; foolish, aspirational, self indulgant halfwits who now vainly attempt to distance themselves from the corruption in which they are complicit. The rest of us deserve much much better

Paarmo isn't a Tory I dont think he is but hes got a point about labour gnashing over this. Tories will be loving it they love nothing more than seeing conservative governments wind non Tory voters up.
Christ when Thatcher introduced the poll tax they thought the rioting was brilliant because they knew it had got under their skin with it they just sat back laughed at it all & encouraged the Tories to do it more. Some of them still laugh about it today how she really wound up & got under theskin of the great unwashed they include the miners strike in all of that too.
The more they wind up the left the more popular they become they dont care about corruption, fraud, kiddy fiddling, killing off the over 80's or creaming off tax payers money its all good as far as they are concerned as long as they get to laugh at the left when they get angry about it.
 
Large swathes of the British people have a ludicrous admiration for a dishonest, incompetent..He's pompous, reckless, arrogant, entitled and morally bankrupt.

This is the “honourable member” we have trusted to run our country ....I find it difficult to understand how so many people can be so blinded to the "plain as day" dangerously bad incompetence of him.
And still he's garnered an most cultish following....not me by the way, I despise him and the whole corrupt cabinet of **** lickers who to a man (and the women too) are just as bad as their leader....a complete 100% bang to rights ***show
 
I really don’t think the public give two hoots about corruption and fiddling the sytem in politics, I think they merely expect it now. It soon becomes yesterdays chip paper, our media has no interest in holding politicians to account. I think the only media employee that tried to hold them to account was Piers Morgan, and he was sacked for being honest (I know). There is enough fiddling from Joe Public claiming money they weren’t entitled to too during the pandemic. Applications were quickly paid and barely checked. Govt did not want hold ups. Millions of pounds of grants have allegedly been fraudulently claimed and paid out to businesses with addresses that were lock-ups and garages etc, but the treasury isn’t too keen on that being discussed.

I am sorry to say this country is occupied by fools, run by liars who are propped up by criminals. The Police have no powers to intervene and if they could would far sooner prosecute a speeding motorist anyway. The powerful are held to account by nobody as they own the majority of the media outlets, we really are a basket case of a country at the moment, directionless, reactionary, with no plans, no ideas, no virtues or morals.
