Oddly, I typed Rogers in my post then looked at it and thought loads of people complain about how to spell his name, it must have a "d" so I changed it. If he's going to follow it up with an assist every time I spell it wrong though, I'm happy to keep doing it.
 
Can we not call him Mourgun to avoid confusion?

Joking aside, we survived a pretty rocky first half and scored 3 well worked goals. Thought Hackney was different class when he came on too. Once he's back up to full speed along with Forss, O'Brien and the rest of the walking wounded then we could well go on a bit of a run.
 
Great to see Forss back, and for us to have a proper finisher on the pitch.

I can see the point of the arguments that say he's not really right to play as sole striker because of his hold up play, but while we're doing this "fluid front four without an out and out striker" thing, then it's a no brainer that he should be one of the four.
 
Reading this after watching the game - I am always amazed how people see different matches.

Thought Rogers was a constant threat with a lot of stuff just not coming off.

They only had one significant chance second half when Watmore knocked it over VDBs head. Engel was not at his best first half but I think he was superb the last 30 minutes.

And Glovers handling of long shots/crosses was great.

Fry was at his best as well.

I really want us to to give 523 a go as our main formation.
 
You know the performance is poor when the spelling police are on the board.

Happy with the result and called it 3-1 before the game. I had Azaz, Greenwood and Rogers scoring.

I've got to disagree mate, I thought some of his movement and decision making was poor.
