Tory just got xxxxed by Tory audience on Qusetion Time.

To be fair to her, it’s tough defending the indefensible. Tossers.
Exactly. But as the last lady said, it's just the Conservatives deflecting from all their other sht. It's so obvious.

They can't have a Maggie Thatcher style war, so appealing to the middle classes by 'stopping the boats'. Not sorting the other, more important stuff out

She is more cringe than the Parody Tory Rosie Holt… im thinking she is her inspiration…

the Tory’s seem to think the answer to a bad problem is a worse solution…

Fiona Bruce is really struggling to try and get the Tory voice out tonight. It would be fantastic if this audience was reflective of the country as a whole - sadly it isn’t. Put this question on Rwanda to an audience in Middlesbrough, Hartlepool l. Stockton et al and lots and lots of people would be supportive.

Loved the response to allowing the water companies to continuously pump unsafe levels of sewage into streams/rivers/seas - it's fine as it's 97% monitored........🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Then, as is becoming more common day after day, has a dig at labour, saying they only monitored 7% 13 years ago. She seemed very, very proud that because they are monitoring the record levels of sh*t pumped out that's progress.......and a victory to celebrate.

Also seemed comfortable making the excuse it's because of the crumbling Victorian infrastructure.......but private companies have the responsibility to maintain and upgrade the systems, not simply move all profits into shareholders pockets........🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

The look on her face when the audience started laying into the privatisation problem...... slightly uncomfortable 👍

I saw the lineup and I retract my previous comments about BBc bias. Surely putting Whately up against Mhairi Black is the political equivalent of a blood sport?

I imagine it was a mauling?

Helen sucks it up!

The lovely Helen Whateley doesn't know the answers when not one person in audience supports the plan to send immigrants to Rwanda.

Those in market research would have a field day with this question.

There is no way, sadly, we can conclude people in that audience did not support the Rwandan plan Just because they didn’t put their hands up.

Supporters of the plan are labelled racists.

In effect she was asking members of the audience if they are racist - few, if any, would put their hand up knowing it was going to be shown on national TV.

Well that's certainly an interesting spin
