In answer to the second part of your post yes - I'd say probably 90% of pubs and almost everyone I transact with online (I don't use shops in a physical sense).Imagine “boycotting” places because you think the owner is a bit of a pillock and is always talking crap in the daily Mail
Do you know who owns all the pubs you go in and shops you spend money in? Or is it just JDW.
We are seeing a significant uplift in awareness from young people currently (thankfully!) in the ethics, morals and sustainable values of those they spend money with. In years to come I predict it will actually be the main motivating factor behind many purchases. Price will play a part but our race to the bottom economy has resulted in multiple vendors of poor quality, cheap products - one of the only ways to differentiate in future will be the morality of those you chose to buy from.
