Trying to get people out to the pubs again after Covid.

Imagine “boycotting” places because you think the owner is a bit of a pillock and is always talking crap in the daily Mail 😂

Do you know who owns all the pubs you go in and shops you spend money in? Or is it just JDW.
In answer to the second part of your post yes - I'd say probably 90% of pubs and almost everyone I transact with online (I don't use shops in a physical sense).

We are seeing a significant uplift in awareness from young people currently (thankfully!) in the ethics, morals and sustainable values of those they spend money with. In years to come I predict it will actually be the main motivating factor behind many purchases. Price will play a part but our race to the bottom economy has resulted in multiple vendors of poor quality, cheap products - one of the only ways to differentiate in future will be the morality of those you chose to buy from.

It's all because the fella is a Brexiteer. Nothing less. They won't go in his pubs, fair enough. But to wish ill fortune on his business that provides an income to thousands is just small minded, bitter and twisted.
Just because they don't agree with him.
Let's be honest though, if he wasn't in business the customers would need serving elsewhere and those jobs would still exist

All hypothetical. If he wasn't in business, then them pubs may not exist at all.
They only exist because of demand, that demand didn't come about because of JD Wetherspoon pubs, it just relocated. As you would say, it put people out of work in other premises that couldn't compete.
