I will check to repost when the site is up and running.

According to reports, "insiders" at Boro have said that his Boro tenure is hanging by a thread and that defeat at West Brom will be the end of his job tonight.
Its not looking good for Warnock.

Whatever the result v West Brom (and as much as I want a change in management, I want us to win first and foremost) I think Warnock's retirement tour isn’t far from ending. It just has that inevitable feel about it now, where everybody knows it’s just a matter of time.

He`s here till the end of the season in my opinion

Who could fill in part time that is currently at the club and is he better than Warnock

Warnock won`t get us playoffs, but he won`t get us relegated either

It seems clear we have a target for manager next season so I don`t think SG will unsettle the ship more than it already is

But should that be the limit of our ambition? To not get relegated? We actually spent this summer. I don’t think Uncle Steve sanctioned that ££ just to stay up.
No it shouldn`t Fabio you`re right and perhaps at the start of the season there was a chance of promotion but there also must have been a plan for what happens after Warnock retires

A man cant keep his job out of sentiment.

There`s 4 teams on 19 points - they arent all going to lose?
Preston are on a run.
Dont count on Reading`s bad run to continue.
We could easily end up in the same situation as under Woody.
Im not happy about it - but its getting too close for comfort.
I want us to win and couldnt care less who is in charge.

We could just as readily win as concede 3 goals and lose.

That really is the problem.

We seem very soft at the back for a Warnock team.

How often have we conceded 3 under Warnock?

It is beginning to feel like a regular occurrence.

I don't think that MFC will hang onto him like we're delaying the inevitable with some dear old grandad having to go to a care home.

Playoffs this year will likely put you against WBA, Bournemouth or Fulham in the final. We can't keep enough clean sheets to even make the top 6. Playoffs are also the only way out of this league next season with the very real possibility of seasoned promotees Norwich and filthy rich Newcastle and Villa in the league.

So the main qualification for being MFC manager must surely be enough goals to make sixth, defensive strength to play attacking teams and having the consistency to confidently approach three playoff matches.

10 times in the league since he took charge

Twice this season
Six times last season
Twice the season before that

Yep I agree with you in that sense (although on recent history, I also wouldn’t be surprised if there is no plan 😂)

Perhaps the plan was to not have a plan.

I wouldn’t blame the club for thinking ‘if he gets us up, we’ll give him another year and if things are looking bleak we’ll get rid at Christmas.’
But there must be a plan B, plan C etc.
