Warnock relying on goodwill to keep him as manager

His team is a house of cards, built on sand. Fragile is not a strong enough word to describe the collective ability of his team.

We are no further forward and NW looks like a lost oap. It's sad, but he's looking a bit like my Halloween turnip, now the light has gone out.

Sadly I think we are stuck with him for the rest of the season, out of sentiment.

WBA will be looking to restore their goal difference come Saturday, which would normally be a worry, but being bothered about that would be pointless. Leave it for Gibson to ponder.

Why is that? Why did the appointment of Scott mean that we had to write off our season? I genuinely don’t understand!?!?
I think a season of transition, Scott has been drafted with a longer term view, beyond Warnock, his vision will be towards the next manager, who knows that manager may already be waiting in the wings, you don’t know what happens behind closed doors, as Warnock is only here for the season, probably less in all honesty, it is just pretty much biding time at the moment.

No real change then. Warnock was not going to be here for ever.. like any other manager. ‘His vision’ will be the clubs vision and include the managers input.. at this moment in time that will include Neil Warnock. We might very well have a successor already lined up, waiting in the wings.

No change - that is the point. It is apparent to most sensible posters we are going nowhere with the management we have. At best we are stagnating at worst going backwards.

Is this good enough? Not in my opinion. We have some talent within our ranks and the biggest puzzle is why they only put it in for a fraction of the game.

I want to see my club move forward- can’t see it happening in the short term

I hope you're right and that those that can have been making moves for a young up and coming coach, it's the way for a club of Boro's size and stature, as history shows.

Thankfully there are no local lads that stand out, when we've gone for ex players we've always failed.

We go for ex players, assistant managers and coaches. I’m guessing who we will go for will be dependant on where we are next season..
