Where are you going on holiday this summer?

I'm on my 8th holiday of the year in Skiathos atm following Bournemouth, Wroclaw, Basel, Poznan, Isle of Man, San Sebastian and Rhodes. In 2 weeks it's Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia then a short break before Verona and Bologna. Nothing booked for August (yet) but after that it's Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan then Madagascar. Still pondering Mongolia, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan and also Zimbabwe and Botswana but they will probably have to wait until 2024

Warsaw for a long weekend this month, then Southern France for a week in August followed by two weeks in Spain.
I just liked writing that down :)

I’m going to go for a week or two in the lakes at some stage, three young children would be a tad too much just now to go abroad!
What age kids ?We are the same deciding if its worth the bother while they are so young ?

Cyprus for us….Protaras, Fig tree bay…hotel right on the beach, water is wonderful, food and weather the same. Walk along the seafront, decouple from a busy way of life and breathe in the sea air and beautiful scenery along with a jar or two 👌😃
Chance to reflect, gather your thoughts, contemplating life etc etc

Just returned from Lisbon. Fantastic city, certainly one of the best in Europe
I love Lisbon but equally love Porto as well, very different cities what sells Porto for me is it's old run down and faded chic center, I love it at night where with some vantage points it has a real magical feel looking across the the roof tops.

We've just had 8 days in Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina, primarily in Herceg Novi.

We're doing a long weekend on Lake Garda in July as a silver wedding anniversary treat, seeing Damien Rice in Gardone.

Going to Malta for 10 days in August.

Off to the San Siro and weekend in Milan with the lads in September.

Kent (Rochester) for a long weekend with my folks in October

October half term were going on a city break, Seville, Valencia, Venice, Turin and Palma all in the running.

Possibly do something over New Year if we can find something suitable. Possibly New York again.

Overnight ferry from Hull to Rotterdam and then Ypres, Utah beach, Mount saint-michel, down the west coast of France and back home via Belgian Ardennes.

A week in Seville for me and the family in September followed by three days at the Rugby World Cup with some friends in France
Cleobury Mortimer for me and the missus in a caravan for a 3 night see-how-it-goes like. Only 90 mins from Stafford. She's awaiting knee replacement operation and I can't get travel insurance outside the UK. Thats including Ireland and the Channel Isles. Hey ho

Winter here, so hunkering down. 1 deg at home so bit of a frost

Coming back for 10 days over Christmas, see family and friends, staying in Saltburn.

Stopping over in NYC on the way there (16 hour none stop flight) then Singapore (love it) for new years eve on the way back.

If anybody has any tips for NYE in Singapore would appreciate hearing them.

You are more than welcome to stay at mine for the weekend Bumface, I live very close to a farm.......

Brambles Farm 👍
That's a very generous offer Nobby. I can't go anywhere at the moment though. Family responsibilities. and Norton would fall apart if I wasm't here to keep the peace. The evil ducks would take over and I can't allow that to happen. It would be carnage.

No problem, I'm hoping to go away with Borofur btw he has at least 6 holidays a year so I've asked him to marry me 👍
