Jeepers!! my biggest fear is that Warnock ends up being the best manager we never got chance to see, imagine Sharon pulling the shepherds crook round cool hand's neck straight after winning promotion to the prem. I honestly think I would cry.. for weeks.

Why would you appoint a manager whose only experience was taking a team from the edge of the play offs to the edge of relegation.
We need to get up this season chaps before the parachute payments run out, what we need is a proven failure at this level.
It would be like writing a musical about Nazis.

Weird tangent to fly off on, I’ve zero problem with talking about non football posts and have several posts in threads on town centres, home automation, sci-fi, gaming etc so not sure what hill you’re trying to die on here, but it’s not that complicated to grasp - thread title suggests something has happened, it hasn’t.

If there was a thread that said boro signed Jesse lingard on loan, other than expecting it to it be a prank you would expect to see some confirmation of that somewhere if you did a google search.

For your suggested thread title, appointed as what? It still looks disjointed. All you have to say is he was appointed first team coach and then the manager was immediately sacked. Thread title doesn’t have to be a life story, or verified or fact checked, just something that has actually happened or is being reported at least somewhere.

“woodgate installed as bookies favourite for Bournemouth job” etc

Simple.

There is plenty of speculative threads on here but there is usually a source, ITK or at least a Twitter post to point to. The fact that he is 1.8 at the bookies suggests nothing of the sort is taking place just yet else there would be a flurry of bets and weight of money algorithms would push it down.

I don’t think OP has done anything malicious by posting it or was on any sort of wind up either.
 
we're worried he might sneak a few wins (which is possible with our players if they feel like playing again) and he gets it full time!

For some reason Bournemouth irritated me when they went to the Premier League. Whether it was the small stadium and mega investments, and the contrast of that I don't know? And Eddie Howe always seems a bit smarmy. That said, I feel a bit sorry for them now. They were my bet for going straight back up but with JW in charge it doesn't look as likely now. I hope the fans don't suffer like we did. On a positive note it is good news for the Boro. UTB.

No it was prob the blatant cheating diving and getting penalty after penalty all the while showing utter contempt for FFP and the rest of the league whilst being hailed as media darling for their amazing fan support despite average numbers that we would be pilloried for at a carabao cup opening round game. Whilst being bankrolled by a shady secretive Russian oligarch that no one really seems to mention.

Just shows how nothing can ever be taken for granted in football. A couple of years ago in the top division, looking quite comfortable, having money thrown at them like confetti, and a manager lauded as a future England manager. And now sitting in the Championship and just having appointed JW as manager. Could things get any worse?
