Woodgate appointed Bournemouth manager?!?

I'm really interested to see how Woodgate does with such a strong squad given the one he inherited here was threadbare and lacking in forward areas.

I hope he does well, can't see why anyone would want to see him fail.

The fact they are our direct competition might be one reason

Yeah, I can't understand any of the people wanting him to do well given he's at the team directly above us that we're trying to catch.

His failure helps Boro, and I'm a Boro fan, not a Woodgate fan.

Just don’t understand Woodgate’s appointment days before they sack the manager, presumably with the intent of bringing a new manager in who will want his own people. Unless Woodgate is his own people.

I really do believe it was just 'unfortunate' circumstances regarding timings - the club expected to beat Sheff Weds and everything to start getting better. I also firmly believe Woodgate really is just holding the fort for a few games, absolutely nothing more.

edited to say : I fookin hope so, anyway

Woodgate was a bit spiky after the match, wasn't he? On one hand, I suppose I would be if I'd spent an entire week hearing nothing but doom and ridicule for getting a job I didn't ask for, on the other he must realise a few games at Bournemouth might help him get some confidence back but its not going to be the long term role for him.

Woodgate brings in Harry after all as number two. He was mulling on him ever since he was at the boro before he got sacked.

I think you're only kidding... but if not, then just so u know - this story is a complete fabrication of the truth! woodgate spoke to HR on the phone. thats it.
