You stupid Northerner

Apparently the judgement was passed and published 3 weeks ago.

It takes a certain sort to go 'looking' for vindication of their legal prowess and resurrect a thread that hadn't been commented on for well over 3 months.
So why are you still commenting if you have so little interest in it. You were wrong at the time get over it and stop making your little digs at me.

This is what I said at the time.

Unlike you I made no comment on the veracity of her evidence to the tribunal, I simply stated that the tribunal should run its course and wait for the outcome.

I don't have a clue what you think I was 'wrong' about at the time.

Being so angry so early in the morning isn't good for you fella you need to calm down.

You know what you said go and look at the thread don’t selectively pick one post from the many you made.
I’m not angry, why would I be angry?

You're getting me mixed up with somebody else FatCat.
I didn't make 'many' posts on the thread. I made one post at the time and that is the one I've just quoted back to you.
The post didn't offer any opinion at all because I hadn't and still haven't read any details of the case.

sorry, yes I did get you mixed up.

However I’m a bit confused now - you have not read any details of the case - yet yesterday you called me spiteful amongst other comments on the case you know nothing about?

For what it’s worth my view is that there are four people who have probably gone through hell, had their lives turned upside down , faced being fired, losing their livelihood, their homes , their sanity and so on based upon the now disproven claims made by this young lady. It’s not due to spite I call this girl out but out of empathy for those wrongly accused. I’ve just been out of work for a long period and it’s not a good place to be - imagine if you had your career taken away from you and future job prospects ruined based on lies. I wouldn’t wish that upon anyone.

I’ve been around tribunal cases before and I don’t remember the adjudicator using the word “bogus” when describing a claim. Normally they will politely uphold or reject claims made.

I hope everyone (claimant and defendant) linked to the case can now move on.

The Central London employment tribunal has dismissed her allegations of bullying and ruled that she was neither racially or sexually discriminated against. Her claim of religious discrimination was bogus, it concluded.

The panel, chaired by Employment Judge Harjit Kaur Grewal, found that Miss Maughan had had wages unfairly deducted.

The judgment read: The unanimous judgment of the Tribunal is that:
The complaints of direct race discrimination are not well-founded.
The complaints of direct sex discrimination are not well-founded.
The complaint of victimisation is not well-founded.
The complaint of unauthorised deduction of wages is well-founded.’

Truth is none of us know. My only view is on the predictably awful angle the paper takes. It's obviously only taken it up to play to the worst knee jerk racism of its readership.
I have to smile at the comments from the Daily Mail mob below. All of them to a man and woman would normally swear blind that bullying was a Namby pamby woke thing but when it comes to an Asian bullying a white worker suddenly bullying in the workplace is a terrifying Issue.

Apology accepted.

My description of you had nothing to do with the case itself, more your general attitude.
