Zack Steffen on a permanent (Twitter rumour)

I'm not calling for Steffen to be dropped for him. I think Steffen is great. I'm just wondering if the money could be better spent elsewhere. I think after a season here as back up, I think that Roberts has the ability to step up.

we have seen what happens when we use inferior goalkeepers. Steffen signing would be great for us.
 
I think we've seen enough to say at the moment Steffen is far superior to Roberts. His command of his area has improved massively, he is saving good shots regular and of course his distribution is generally very good. We are lucky to have him. Would be a great signing but I'm not sure we could afford him on a permie. Let's hope we keep him for the season and a premiership team doesn't ask to buy him in January.

He does seem to have on average 1 panic inducing moment a game though when he has bat his feet
 
Its a No from me he goes walkabout too much that will cause us to drop points that roberts doesnt do so i will wait for roberts to be back as no.1 keeper.

I agree it is me that has the panic set off, he definitely doesn't. Against Norwich where he miscontrolled it with his knee and then calmly played it across the unguarded box our house welcomed a whole herd of kittens due to the fright he gave me
