Sadly he was the problem that became more obvious by the week.He must be smarting now, didn’t he say the squad wasn’t good enough to mount a promotion challenge or was it just him not wanting to be there ?
Used this as a dig at the recruitment team because he didn't get the players he wanted......too arrogant to think Gibson wouldn't sack him? Thought he would collect a tidy payoff and walk into another job straight away?He must be smarting now, didn’t he say the squad wasn’t good enough to mount a promotion challenge or was it just him not wanting to be there ?
He didn’t want to be here following the Burnley debacle and basically ‘downed’ tools after that without really saying so…whinging about recruitment, critical of the players, everyone else’s fault, sub standard players. He must be smarting now, didn’t he say the squad wasn’t good enough to mount a promotion challenge or was it just him not wanting to be there ?
Yes. And Warnock too who should have been left behind in 2021.Can we please leave Wilder behind in 2022 once we enter the new year?
More like 1991Yes. And Warnock too who should have been left behind in 2021.
Hmmm. Sort of. He initially came here to keep us up and succeeded. Also I think its wrong to put Warnock in the same boat he came here to do a job and succeeded.
When he came in people were saying who should go and who should stay - but all managers have their preferred style of play. Some players will come in and play a bigger role than under the previous manager , while some who were in all the time will drop down the pecking orderFry and Chuba surplus to requirements says it all really
One thing that does surprise me is Paddy not being involved with carrick's plans. A season or 2 ago he was one of the 1st players on the team sheet
Thats not nice Jed !!!More like 1991
Warnock, even in that short space of time, took us as far as he could. We would not have progressed past 10-12th.....and with his announcement of his retirement at the end of the season Gibson was a bit between a rock and hard place as to how to move forward.Hmmm. Sort of. He initially came here to keep us up and succeeded.
He stayed on to get us promoted and fell well short.
I was livid at the treatment of fry but there were plenty on here going on with wilders narrative that he wasn't a good enough footballer and should be offloaded. What utter nonsense that's provedFry and Chuba surplus to requirements says it all really
