Ajax.

Will always have a soft spot for Chuba and as far as examples of triumph over adversity stories goes he's a great example to hold up.
It's no doubt the case with a lot of footballers that they've either not found the ideal environment to succeed in or not applied themselves enough. Chuba is an example of overcoming both situations and he should be applauded for it. Hopefully his new gaffer realises this and gives him the best opportunity to showcase his talents.

Aside from one season , he’s been ***** . We robbed Ajax . Even if he came back (he won’t ) he won’t be anywhere like last season . He truly was a one season wonder . He would have left on a free had it not been for last season, and many fans saying they’re glad he’s gone

He’s not starting because he hasn’t looked good enough in training and he’s not good enough to be in the first team of an elite club like Ajax .

I don’t want him back
How's he looked in training recently? Has he stepped it up yet?

Just asking because it sounds like you've been watching it quite a bit, so interested to get an informed view 😏

Do me a favour? Them fans who are “glad he‘s gone”, tell them to try a different sport, carpet bowls, croquet maybe, because they know f*** all about football.

Swooning over a one season wonder because he had one good season . One year fans are happy to watch him leave on a free then the next year they want 15+ million for him . That’s being clueless about football . Akpom at Ajax now is what he is usually like . People keep saying it’s because he’s not being given his chance . Yeah, there’s a reason for that

I work with Ajax fans (Dutch company) and it was the manager and the outgoings that they were most upset with. They felt that a lot of players were being under-utilised and let's face it they weren't at the bottom of the league because a sometimes starting other times not forward who had been put on the right wing wasn't scoring.

He'll do well there; if he can link up with Brobbey like he did with Archer here they'll love him.

Did he sleep with your missus or something?

He's finally getting a chance to play in the central positions and got 3 goals in less than 45 minutes on the pitch

Ajax have been a mess since the Overmars resignation - on-field and off-field. They haven't played football the Ajax way and the previous manager struggled to motivate the players. they've gone back to a 4231 system for the last 2 games and Chuba has played as 9 and 10 when he's come on. With regular game time in the right formation he could easily get 20+ in this league.
