Totally agreed. There are regularly calls on here for him to make way on the bench for Muniz. Hopefully we can all trust Carrick's judgement on him now. Excellent game

Tonight showed Mowatt Hackney and Howson can all play in the team at the same time when needed

Loved how he dropped the shoulder a couple of times when under pressure in the midfield area. He shows his experience - a cool customer.

Also like that he keeps it simple at the right moments as well. He wont try and do anything silly and will lay the ball off to a teammate when he has his back to goal, rather than potentially having the ball nicked from him.
