Ban every kid that ran on the pitch.

Their parents too.

Pathetic.

Especially the one that ran on when the game was ongoing and we were pushing for a 4th.
Little moron.
Agree.

I’d arrest the parents as if they were the ones who ran onto the pitch.

My kids wouldn’t dream of running onto the pitch, the only reason kids do it is because the parents let them as they know they won’t get punished.

Mad isn’t it, it is like the parents are juvenile delinquents, living out their silly little dreams at the expense of their kids….

It started with the kid getting a selfie with Rooney.

Ban that kid, fine the parents, take his phone off him and you don’t have a problem.

The kid today should have been kicked out and the two meffs from the north stand.

Stewards are dreadful!

Kicked off when a fan boo’d the linesman and today stopped kids getting high fives from the tunnel.

You all should be ashamed of yourselves. They're kids getting excited and getting involved, that's all. They're not doing harm, that comes from adults, as we've seen all too often.

Tough crack, but actions have consequences. Loads of kids would like to do the very same.

The stewards are rubbish, completely OTT this season with genuine fans, they spoilt it today for young fans in the stand wanting to get closer to the tunnel for the walk around.

Baldy jobsworth in the west stand and his bearded wannabe CSI detective. Little kids not invading the pitch and not doing anything wrong.

Some right grumpy old gits on here. Life time bans for kids how ridiculous does that sound. If the clubs can identify them then they could write to them and warn them about their behaviour. At the end of the day they are boro fans and we need as many as we can get.

I think there's a balance. Not sure anyone has said a lifetime ban is appropriate for kids, but some sort of ban yes. Not sure a warning cuts it. Pretty sure anyone doing it would laugh off a warning.

If there are no consequences, then surely the risk is it occurs more often? If people see others doing it and getting away with it they'll want to do it themselves, that's human nature. It's made explicitly clear you cannot enter the pitch, you can't have any complaints if you get punished for it.

Yeah fair point. Let as many come on as they like, just kids getting excited after all.

Maybe put in a couple of sandpits in the centre circle and a swing by the corner flag too.

This needs nipping in the bud!
I cannot believe that any parent would allow this to happen OR actively encourage it to happen.

Imagine the outrage if one of those kids was injured in the process of removing them from the pitch?

I can't believe that anybody would try and defend this sort of behaviour.

Sign of the times I suppose.

So it’s fine for kids to run on the pitch and disrupt the game?

What about adults?

I guess you are the type of person that lets their kids run wild and do what they want. After all they are just kids being kids right?

No wonder we have such an entitled society today. The me me me instagram generation.

It’s vex

I haven’t seen a single suggestion of a life time ban. My personal suggestion would be a 3 year ban for the kid and the parent.

If that first kid hadn’t ran onto the pitch yesterday there wouldn’t have been as much added time, and we don’t concede that late goal which could literally cost us a play-off place due to goal difference and countless millions through not getting promotion.

Are you happy about that? So some entitled brat can get a selfie with a player?

The club has tried asking nicely for years and it hasn’t worked, I understood the scenes on full time after Brighton when we were actually promoted but this whole kids going onto the pitch to get shirts and selfies needs to stop and I’d support the club taking a very hard line on it.

If Sheff Utd draw - lifetime ban
