I don’t think it will happen. There is a reason he still hasn’t declared publicly that he is running, and I think that is because he knows deep down he won’t get the 100 signatures. As good as it would be for the Labour Party if he did return, I just can’t see it happening.

He's polarising inside the parliamentary party and the wider membership and even more so in the general public.

He will never unify the MPs, in fact some of them publicly lambasted his integrity just 8 weeks ago. So the infighting will continue. The public largely detest him and the first drama and they will violently turn on him.

The tories need to just accept in my opinion they’ve lost the next election . They in my opinion need to rebuild and let Labour make a mess a of things ( left wing Labour does , not centrist Labour ) . Think starmer will be next pm and will run things more competently than the tories currently . There will inevitably come a time that Labour will become dated like the current Tory party is and that’s when the tories could win again . A rebuild with Ben Wallace as leader would be a force to contend with

If johnson is the answer then I don’t want to know the question . it’s absolutely mental it has come to this after winning with a landslide that they now face losing . The socialists really ****ed up by allowing corbyn to be Labour leader. Corbyn was a F***ing walking disaster with his foreign policy despite what some on here will think (views on the Iranian revolution , Ireland and nukes to name a few ).
