Yes from me, why not create a safer environment for all, and why wouldn’t people want to have the vaccine, unless for some misguided principle or just to exercise a rite.
It’s not compulsory but it maybe that if you choose not to have the vaccine, then you may need to live with certain restrictions that may compliment that choice? No it's not compulsory to have the vaccine so you can't make it compulsory to access pubs, cinemas, clubs.
Not anti vaccine had mine and waiting for second jab.
Lots of pubs don't have staff to implement this. Pub I use has one bar person on most times. How are they going to police that.
Once again the Government are not being clear with their guidance.
When it comes to lack of foresight have you considered that in lieu of a vaccination a -ive test would suffice thus not excluding anyone? No, it's a ridiculous idea as far as I'm concerned. Setting aside the obvious issues around policing such a measure, how is it fair to deny 20 somethings and 30 somethings access to a pub when they don't have access to the vaccine? And how is it fair to business owners to deny them, in many cases, their most prolific customers?
I never cease to be amazed at the lack of foresight of the people that run the country. If the powers that be made this a law, the riots in Bristol would pretty soon be replicated in every corner of the country on a daily basis. It's madness.
Firstly, the question was about vaccine passports, not negative test passports. But that is an even more idiotic suggestion. Not only do you still have to have staff checking and verifying passports/certificates prior to permitting entry, which is wholly impractical, but anyone not yet vaccinated would have to get a test every week/10 days. That's just not feasible IMO. But if we insist on going down this dangerous road, why stop at pubs? Why not extend it to every public place, including shops, so you literally cannot go anywhere without proving you are "clean"?When it comes to lack of foresight have you considered that in lieu of a vaccination a -ive test would suffice thus not excluding anyone?
I'm sure that loads of people on here have some form of short term memory loss. They'll argue themselves to a standstill on a long thread then start all over again a day later like it hadn't happenedPlus this has been done to death already on another thread, smh.
