Sh1t happens, no worries from me.
My bigger concern is that we are still bias to that right side when building up play. So much of the match yesterday giles was in acres of space with no service and we automatically look to jones everytime. We have seen the crossing and attacking intent he has, we need to feed him!
No, but he might have spelt “drawer” properly!Connolly wouldn’t have apologised
I think if we still had Tav it would be a different story. McGree has struggled a little and he's the natural link into Giles. Having said that Giles still saw plenty of the ball vs WBAYeah it’s still an issue, and Wilder knows it.
We gave Crooks a lot of credit past season, but I think it was actually more to do with the right sided centre back creating the overloads.
We’re just unable to do that on the left hand side, and can’t create the same sort of triangles.
Its great having someone on the LHS that can put a decent ball in . we missed that last season.Probably in the minority but the tweet annoyed me - that is also probably because I'm a grumpy old man
I don't like this pandering to the crowd and fans, no matter how sincere. I'd ban all players off social media for the good of themselves.
Agreed with Wilder's comments post-match that he had told him to get on with it, sh1t happens and stop throwing his arms in the air for the benefit of the crowd.
As a fan I'm more bothered about his overall contribution over 90 mins game on game rather than an isolated mistake. It happens.
If he starts doing it every week then we'll let him know our feelings and more importantly so will the manager and he won't be in the team anyway.
