Gyokeres to Rangers

He'd bag about 60 goals up there. May as well sign for a good League 2 club if that's the standard he's looking at.

Totally agree, no way Rangers could afford him......unless they are back to their creative accounting tricks.
 
Only benefit to him I can see is European football and broader experience for his international appearances, but seems to be defining a ceiling for his ambitions very early in his career.
 
Would be a very silly move for him to go to that pathetic club.

He’s definitely good enough for the PL, and if he proves his worth in the PL, for one of the bottom 6/10 teams, then I can only imagine even bigger clubs will come knocking and his earnings will soar.

Going to the Scottish league would be a ridiculous move.
 
Henrik Larson spent something like 5 years in Scotland, so it’s not beyond reason to see Gyokeres play for one of the Glasgow clubs. It’s probably unlikely, but if a Premier League club doesn’t make a move he could do worse than play for Rangers.
 
He would be insane to go there - and I say that as someone who really likes Rangers.
He should go to the PL and in my opinion will do this summer.
 
Literally only says that Rangers are interested him. Nothing at all about him being interested in them.
 
If a PL club doesnt come in for him he's staying where he is.

Gyokeres is one of those players like Yates at Blackpool and Chuba where the price a club wants for them is way beyond what any other Championship club can afford, so its only PL clubs they can move to
 
He was rumoured to be going to Everton last season and I think that would be a sensible move for him and Everton.

My guess is around £22m and £60k/week salary.

I can't see Rangers matching that.
 
No chance Rangers can afford this deal, at least 15 mill, plus a hefty weekly wage.

It would blow Beales full summer budget, if it could be stretched to that!
