How good was that

Was it any different to the Sunderland performance?

Hackney was great. That’s a positive.
If Ross Stewart hadn’t been injured 15 minutes before the game.. they would have beaten us.

Yes, it was better. The players knew what they were doing, the manager and coaches supported them.

Some crystal ball there mate!

I just think that people are so desperate for it to have been better they’re seeing things that weren’t there.

We did ok first half in patches and we were poor second half. Didn’t create many chances but got the result.

That’s about it.

I enjoyed game. Wasn't free flowing but showed character. They aren't prime Barca of course and will make mistakes but difference was tonight they didn't look terrified of making mistakes. Too many times this season they have decended into a panic when under the cosh but that never happened tonight I thought. Massive result as well.

Not sure we won at a canter. Brum were better team 2nd half. Important win nonetheless and buzzing for Leo. Whoever the new manager is I'm not confident of anything other than mid table this season from what I've seen so far including tonight. Hope I'm wrong.

The defence was night and day to the horror show under wilder.

We weren’t clinging to grim death at 1/0 either.

It was the same as the wins against Sunderland and Swansea.

Scored one of the few chances, limited the opposition, didn't play particularly well as a team.

There was very little time to impact the team, so I'm not criticising Leo for that, but let's not pretend.
If Steffen hadn't been on form, we'd have conceded yet another soft goal from a Dijksteel howler.

This is how I see it too. No need to overegg the pudding. Great result from a typical performance this season. No major improvement that some people seem to have seen. Didn’t really expect any either. Big win though.

That was much better. We closed the gaps in midfield and actually had a good shape when we weren't in possession. Also that was a much better Birmingham team than they have had for many a year (and they still beat us last season). If you think that wasn't any better you don't know football.

So disagree with you and you don’t know football? Give over man.

It was a poor Birmingham side, as it always is.

They were 17th before tonight, they're now 19th and we're 18th.
