ITV confirmation Number Ten partied whilst the rest of us locked down.

Anyone else finding the release of the video raises some questions.

The shots of the people other than Stratton have the faces blanked out so the original video must have been edited. Was the target the PM or Stratton.
Thoughts?

Can I just suggest that neither FatCat nor Millbrook are defending these allegations but feel the same as the majority on here in their condemnation that it’s beyond defence and in need of appropriate action by the PM to balance the situation
That's probably fair, but they don't help themselves with their repeated habit of seemingly always throwing a "but" in.

"I condemn these events but......."

Sometimes (and increasingly so with this government) there are no mitigating factors or they're so inconsequential they're barely worth mentioning. Or so you would think......

With all due respect to you AM I'll decide for myself if those two posters feel the same as I do. I've never seen any form of condemnation from them in respect of the many despicable acts of Johnson and his rabble.

And you seriously believe that Johnson is capable of appropriate action?

You won't find any such statements in my posts on this topic.
A repeated habit on this board is generalisations like that.

You will also not have seen any negative comments about Labour from me. I was rightly banned in my early days and have chosen not to make political comments.

You are mistaken. What I actually said was we spoke to my FIL about what he wanted to do over last christmas. We decided as a family not to go ahead with a christmas celebration. I have already said we cancelled christmas last year, in line with the restrictions.
Couldn't care less what those people think, the majority on this thread have every right to be annoyed at this charlatan of a PM, you can't deflect from our anger. Take it on the chin, most of us ARE better than this government, are more honest, have more integrity. You had the choice to show you have more integrity than Johnson and his clingers on but chose to disprove it by dismissing peoples anger at them. At least you are consistent in your character though aye

Can you not read?

The offence is caused by the those who didn’t ignore guidance and who observed regulations but missed out on that opportunity to see people they’d never see again
I understand that entirely I just find the offence a bit rich coming from some people who have not followed the rules and are partly to blame themselves.

It's because they were responsible for the rules, established them and chose to ignore them.

They made a number of decisions which made Christmas difficult for a great number of people, then chose not to follow them themselves.

He should go.

The Spectator have written a glowing defence of Allegra Stratton this afternoon . It bit them in the bum as it's subsequently been pointed out that Allegra's hubby is, yes you guessed it, the political editor of The Spectator.

He's a disgrace to the UK. Its that simple. The overwhelming majority want him gone. He should know that by now. His position is untenable and you must be the only person standing his corner making lame excuses for him.

In your book, they are all at it, so it's not such a big deal.

Well it is, and he should go. Go now, before he makes the situation worse - because that it exactly what he always does with everything he touches.

I'm sure he will have a space for you at his next party. Most of his mates have rsvp'd to say they can't make it for some strange reason.

Impeccable timing. The Downing Street team come up with, for them, was a this will get you off PM, kill the whole thing, home free.
Having committed himself to “I have been assured..blah blah” A body is now required. Someone offers the tape to ITV. Bingo!
Bunter enters PMQ’s…gives a non apology apology.
He starts with his, look what these people, his staff, in his house have done me.
Wonder if she was aware of the set up before?
When your dirty tricks squad come up with something as limp and see through as this. It really is time to go.
