When I do my tax return I absolutely minimise my tax. Not sure what people think is “fair” about tax, if there are ways to reduce it then go for it. Where laws are broken go mad at them.

Amazon will pay shedloads on other taxes like NI, business rates and the amount of VAT they collect will be obscene

He saw a gap in the market, worked hard towards building up his business empire and is now reaping the rewards. So much so he's actually stepping down and letting somebody else take the reigns for a bit whilst he focuses on other ventures. Hell philanthropy could well be one of those ventures.

Back in the 1990s the UK government used to collect much more tax from all the former profitable retailers who lined the high street that they do from Amazon. I am talking well over £1000m a year.
