Liz Truss : is she the most dangerous politician ever?

Extreme policies on everything from the economy and tax to Ni and the protocol caused by a hard brexit to a ‘bonfire of eu legislation to Rwanda continuing to demanding the French sort out the border issues.
She antagonises everyone with her far right radicalism despite being anti brexit and liberal in years gone by.
She clearly chases controversy and wants to be noticed. I think it stems from a chronic lack of a’real’ sense of identity in who she is so creates caricatures of herself to look for a reaction.
Her pay off in all of that reaction is to feel alive and like she is ‘somebody’
It’s her way of functioning. She has a lot of pathology.

Her extremely narcissistic personality doesn’t help.

If she wins we are fcuked
(Sunak ain’t much better but at least he ain’t crazy)

I think she is too useless to be dangerous. She'll be out soon enough. Johnson thinks he's coming back doesn't he? ;)

Truss, certain to be the next PM, is a direct result of Johnson and his creation of a new anti politics. This lunatic cabal is lapped up by the membership too which has over the past few years been filled with the Far Right and Britain First. This “selectorate” as it has been dubbed is at the heart of all that is wrong with British politics now. God help us.

It's damage limitation now unfortunately until the next GE. Labour should be rubbing their hands given what's coming. Just hope Sir Keir has enough talent in his team because there is going to be a lot to put right.

The big concern is that for the next 18 months the Tories - Truss in particular if she gets to play PM - will adopt a scorched earth (or rather policies/economics) approach; the country will be absolutely f*cked to the point where if Labour win in 2024 they have an impossible task to straighten the country. Short unpopular 5 years then Tories back in 2029.
It really is a scary time for UK politics......all for a very small % of rich, right wing old men.

Totally agree.
I think our only hope is that the right wing press backers of the Tories scare enough people to stop labour getting a majority in parliament and it forces a coalition with the Lib Dems and their conditions are bringing through voting reforms and proportional representation.

That would transform British politics and give us a route back into at least a Customs union and or single market. More importantly it would give the country policies which are balanced across the public divide and not just skewed towards big business

Probably the thickest politician ever. (Neck and neck with Dorries)

She won't be around long enough to do too much damage. 6 months tops. The Tory's won't like Starmer tearing her (& them) a new one every single week.
She will self destruct like some batsh!! crazy robot in due course.
Then who's next? Boris? Thought sounds funnier than it actually is.

Don't worry her economic plans have been rubber stamped by Patrick Minford of 'Economists for Brexit', the bloke who said the UK economy would be £135bn better off after Brexit but it's actually £80bn worse off (much as every other economist predicted). What could possibly go wrong?🙄

Both Sunak and Truss are playing to the far right now. Talk of more migrant shipping to. Africa ( Sunak was apparently against but now gone full turn in his desperation to get power) - both of them are sordid opportunists who should be nowhere near the post of PM.

There is no way I can see Sunak winning now. Im glad Im over here and not there

Both Sunak and Truss are playing to the far right now.

They are the far right now. Because the party they wish to lead have moved in that direction. Their policies are becoming almost identical to European far right parties, according to some guy on the radio just now.

Agree apart from PR, remember a form of it gave us the wrong Milliband.
