When do you forsee yourself recieving the vaccine?

I'm in Group 8 - 55-59 age group - I'm guessing that it will be mid to late Summer, effectively meaning distancing and possibly lockdown until then.
 
I'm curious as to when it will start being available in the private sector. I work internationally doing inspection work to support the oil & gas industry.

I assume at some point in the not so distant future I will 'have' to be vaccinated to get on a vessel or a platform, or to travel to certain countries, or installations. This happens now for Yellow Fever, TB, Hep A & B etc, malaria medication in your blood and so on.

So I think there's a chance work will pay for our field engineers to jump the queue somehow as soon as the vulnerable and frontline have been jabbed, if they can of course.

There are no private jabs currently available.
I hope it stays that way.
 
It’s all over 50s and those 16-49 who are clinically vulnerable (asthma, diabetes etc) by the end of April. All over 16s who wants one by September

I understand that, but I assume as the program rolls on, some countries may have excess, or decide to stick with one type when they've hedged their bets and ordered multiple types?
 
According to the Vaccine calculator linked above (Thanks for that) there are between 23m and 26m in front of me - which equates to late June mid July for the first of 2 jabs
 
27 million and 39 million for me!

Is there any professional weighting beyond key workers from health, care and emergency services? Like air traffic control ahead of garden centres say? Or is sit imply age and underlying condition related?

Not yet.
As things progress 'key' workers might come to include Oil and Gas/Utilities workers but as the infection rates come down alongside increased vaccination numbers they might just leave it as is.

I've heard of none so far but the lobbyists will be putting the pressure on highlighting how important their own sector is.

After front line workers (including teachers) I would hope they'd look at the food industry, transport and power workers.
