What next for Leo?

Surely any involvement Leo has would be fairly invisible unless you're at the training every day.

On a match day unless you're the manager, second in charge or physio you wouldn't really need to be doing anything.

Can someone ring talksport next week and ask Warnock what Leo's role was/ is? and whether he is value for money?

I think the sentiment is great, but I'd be very surprised if he wasn't more than just a cone and bib man.

One minute we’re sentimental, the next we’re casually ditching players and staff - a pretty inconsistent and unrealistic scenario.

Some fans like to speak with authority when in reality they know as little as the rest of us on the outside.

If we are looking more at the South American market for transfers surely having someone at the club on the coaching staff who understands the culture and speaks the language is a positive factor.

Last match I watched on telly Warnock spent a fair bit of time speaking to Leo on the sidelines. I think having a bit of continuity in the backroom staff is a positive.

It would be heartbreaking to lose any child but to lose two is beyond the scale surely? I could never really fully appreciate the pain Leo must have endured. Boro have provided a focus that cannot be put into words.

His bonding with the club and fans has given him a reason to get up in the morning and face the world. The sentimentality aspect is showing humanity and shining a light in the darkest of places. The club has done that and I applaud them for putting sentimentality before anything when it comes to Leo.

Leo is always isolated, never part of the management/coaching big boys.

Up until the Muniz fiasco I would have agreed with you. Always sat apart from coaching staff and manager. More recently sat in the middle of the coaching team. Whether that's just to talk to Payero I am not sure.

Wasn't Leo appointed / announced as a the substitution coach under Warnock, after he started getting his old boys in?
So in charge of briefing the player going on essentially, on a match day anyway.
