Is Tyson Fury the biggest fraud in boxing?

Warren said this on the night of the Ngannou fight. It kinda made sense too, not time for a full camp after Fury’s dreadful display on Saturday - he’ll need a full camp!!!wh

Well fury said he will take legal action against usyk if the 23rd doesn’t happen…

Just released the PPV figures for the states. 67k buys is abysmal, seems the general public weren’t stupid enough to buy it and those US fans Fury tried so hard to win over have had enough. For contrast Mayweather-McGregor did 4.3 million.

Molteni.. come on, you've been trying to defend Fury for nigh on a year. Just look at what he has done in that time. He's had since last October when he started gobbing off again to get himself right.

Fury won't fight Usyk. Not in 2023. Not in 2024. Not ever. He knows there's a good chance he loses that fight and crashes his value. He'll continue to cherry pick opponents and maximise income along with clinging on to that WBC belt until his hand is forced.

I’m not defending or attacking Fury. I am just a realist. I think Dec 23rd is too close after the pounding Fury got against Ngannou. Just because that doesn’t suit an anti-Fury agenda it doesn’t mean it’s wrong. AJ or any other fighter would want longer to prepare after a tough fight.

I think the Fury camp thought the Ngannou fight would be easy. They were wrong.

I am gutted that it won’t be the 23rd Dec as I was going to travel to Saudi to watch it. If it’s early next year I don’t think I will be able to go.

Everything suggests they will fight. Contracts signed. Fury even promoted it on Instagram the other day. Usyk wants it (and seemingly only wants that fight).

If Fury ducks out it is the end of his career in my eyes and I don’t think he wants to retire just yet - hence me thinking the fight will happen. It’s come to a head. He has to fight Usyk.

100% Fury will fight Usyk in the first quarter of 2024, rematch probably December 2024

I think it's too soon as well. I posted that on here as soon as they announced that date. It was never going to happen on that date. So why even announce it?
It was conveniently posted a week before the Ngannou fight which was doing terrible numbers and the sheep lapped it up. Again.

That signed contract is good for nothing. It hasn't got a date or venue. There's no legal obligation to fulfil the fight.

We are at the same point as we were 12 months ago when Fury was telling everyone he would fight Usyk in February 2023. Chisora is his warm up fight. Blah blah blah. Then he predictablly didn't get it signed. Moved it into Q2. Didn't get it signed. Then announced that joke fight.

People were saying then what they are saying now. There's no other fight Fury other than Usyk. But he still dodged it. And he'll dodge it again.

Meanwhile Usyk will have to fight some whopper like Hrgovic to keep his belts and people will say boxing is finished. The top fighters won't fight each other. And it all comes down to one man.

It's not an anti Fury agenda. You say you are a realist but you are ignoring the reality of the last 2 years. The realists are the ones who are seeing Fury for what he is.

In the last 2 years (baring in mind he's supposed to be a world champion) he's:

fought a mndatory defence against Dillian Whyte

Retired for 4 months

Fought a voluntary defense against Chisora

Fvcked about Usyk for 6 months

Fought an exhibition fight against Ngannou

That is the reality

It is the reality. And that is why I think that if he doesn’t fight Usyk his boxing career is over. We’ll probably then see him in WWE :ROFLMAO:

Are the boxing public all united now in agreement, that his skills as a boxer have been grossly overestimated, given his frankly shocking resume?
He is clearly talented. If he was mediocre then you’d have the likes of Whyte, Wilder and Wlad walking him down and making mince meat out of him.

Unless he fights Usyk there will always be that huge question mark.

I’m not particularly bothered if he fights Joshua or not.

A non title fight and they were asking around $80 for it-- craz-ee

That’s crazy that they charge that much for PPV in the US. I wonder if dodgy boxes are a thing in the States?

i was reading some comments on the post which was from the states, and most were saying everyone will of been streaming it for free rather than paying so I expect they are.

Yeah, no way would I pay £20 to watch Fury vs Ngannou, never mind $80!!

The bbc commented in the article that fury could go down as all time great. His skills have never been overestimated, and the fact the fury doesn’t apply himself properly will never negate that

If fury skills have been overestimated, and he’s the best heavyweight since klitchsko, what does it say about the rest of the devision

He made whyte look like a chump. I noticed a couple of the anti fury brigade plumped for whyte in that fight too
