If they didn’t get any injuries ever then I believe they would be in the top 2, they play some of the best football I’ve ever seen and Amad Diallo will be pushing Marcus Rashford and Anthony next season.

They're not a bad footballing side and Diallo, Stewart, Clarke and Roberts are all great attacking players at this level. The rest of the team is average however so even if Stewart had been fit all season I don't think they would have been top 2. Definitely would've made the play offs though. Thank god he got injured! .

I’d say good not great players at this level. Shame two will be gone next year without them getting a penny

To be fair to the Mackems if they are poor in the first half they don’t see the second half as they’re all on their way home.

That forum is quickly becoming a laughing stock. Word is spreading how deluded they are, they talk like they are one of biggest clubs in the country.

Would one of the biggest clubs in the country have only 2 top ten finishes in 70 years with a significant spell in the third tier. Last trophy 50 years ago and their hero being Niall F***ing Quinn.

They can't put together a run of more than 3 wins, don't score enough goals, are overreliant on Diallo and seem bereft if plan A fails.

That said, I'd rather not play them in the play offs. Not because we lost to them, but because it's a needless emotional distraction. I'd rather the team didn't expend too much energy beating them. Much rather a professional job against Millwall or Blackburn so we have enough in the tank for the final.

In fairness, at least this poster acknowledges that we create a better atmosphere, despite getting smaller crowds.
