Is this a tactic to stretch the police to it`s limit, feels like something way more sinister behind this than the man on the street like that idiot Wheatley or whatever his name was.

Surprised with the number been put out there by the police that there isn`t more dispersal orders in place tbh
 
I think it will be difficult to organise now. These protests/riots rely on social media to organise.
People are going to be less willing to be the person to post the details after seeing the backlash received after the first protests. Wheatley etc.

They might be planned, but can’t see people turning up in any significant numbers and causing trouble. Surely seeing people getting jailed now has made them think twice? Then again these people aren’t the brightest.

It is, which then falls under terrorism.

Short term the government need to do two things.

A - declare this as terrorist. Anyone involved will be dealt with under terrorist offences with huge tarrifs, organisers will spend 10+ year in prison
B - deploy the army to support the police, under police direction. To up the manpower, rules of engagement to change to arrest and disperse any gatherings before they form into bigger more violent groups
C - Increase income tax by x% to pay for increased policing to fight terrorism and repair damage caused by rioting. If people think it will hit them in the pocket they will think twice

Longer term:
A - get counter terrorism funding up, crack these groups at source
B - Solve the social media problem with digital IDs linked to profiles
 
There are no protests. Someone/group is purely wanting Muslims protecting mosques in large groups. Why? I haven’t a clue. We saw it in Stockton on Monday

Maybe but that’s my personal freedom of speech and they have to respect my right to feel that way as a trade off for my unwavering support for them to have their belief. I don’t owe their belief system any credence or respect, but I respect them as individuals. No religion should be free from critical thinking, it shouldn’t be taboo, but if someone chooses that way of life, more power to them for doing it.

..... yes, saw this on Sky. The interviewer should also have known this and pulled him up on it. It's also the first line in at least one (if not all) of the daily call to prayers. Jenrick should know this, even if it isn't publicly broadcast from mosques in the UK. If he did know, even more disgusting. If he didn't, he really needs some basic education about a belief system of a significant number of people in a country where he wants to be PM.

No, I'm not going to walk up to a random person and just say your religion is nonsense mate. But, it is my opinion that it is nonsense. Just as I will say that many other personal beliefs like flat earthism is nonsense. We all have opinions and in the right context, I'll vocalise mine. This is a message board where we discuss all kinds of stuff, if it offends anyone, I'm sorry that offends them, but it doesn't change my stance of bewilderment.

If you analyse my words I switched from my world view of "sky fairies" to their world view of "god" mid sentance, and that was for a reason.
 
Town is fairly empty - even for Boro - loads of people working from home today.. just a few usual types getting on the beer too early..
