That’s it then. No Deal

"brexiteers should be disliked" is your last name Pidcock?
Reaction to what they have done to the country and how they can’t explain why they have ruined it. The reactions of you, same as and the boro3 idiot are the exact reasons people get so angry with Brexit. If only you showed rationale thought, or humility, or could discuss the merits of Brexit it would be better. The fact you can’t shows what an idiotic, embarrassing and downright destructive force Brexit is.

It's dramatic because you're claiming the lives of more than half the country have been ruined by Brexit. What an absurd load of *****.
True, it’ll be much more than that. Everyone except the mega rich will suffer from the economic downturn

You'd think she was a parody if there weren't so many like her.

That was fcuking hilarious. Looking forward to taking back control but she can't think of anything she can't do now that she couldn't do in the EU except maybe cutting down hedges when she wants to her farm because EU only allowed it at certain times (citation needed).
We are totally screwed thanks to millions of unthinking idiots like her.

..and the mega rich want it so they can continue to squirrel their wealth away in opaque tax havens. It's just baffling that they managed to con so many people.
I think, as the brexiteers on this thread have proven, some people are ignorant enough to con. Sadly for this country there are many of them. An actual staggeringly scary amount as it turns out or this whole cataclysmic nightmare would have been stopped.

SmallTown enough is enough, you voted this shower in and are at least as culpable as any leave voter. You have absoloutely no moral high ground here at all. You talk about how others ballot paper is going to affect you and didn't give two hoots how your ballot paper affected others either.#
Explain that one you hypocrite

Is this the fun party thread where we all join hands and get along? Can I join in? I brought a couple of bottles of Babycham and some sugar puffs. Everyone's welcome to share.

One thing is clear here. Those on the remain side of the argument have not learnt any lessons whatsoever. Just the natural default position of calling anyone who disagrees with them thick or racist or both. The real casualty in all of this is reasoned debate and an unwillingness on either side to listen.
It cuts both ways.(y)
Lets all move on.

I was astonished when I heard the "interview".
Sounded like a lost child.
The most honest summary of the merits of walking away from a market place of 500,000,000 people.
Sad if it werent so laughable.(n)

False. I'm entirely wiling to listen. And happy to state why I think Brexit is a bad idea.

The brexiteers must KNOW by now how bad an idea it is which is why they can't defend it at all. Just rely on deflection and insults. This entire thread has had Brexiteers being asked to state benefits of brexit and not one of them has. It tells you all you need to know. I'd have a lot more respect for them if they either defended their position or admitted they were wrong. They seem incapable of either.

All you've done here is paint Brexiters as pathetic babies who need to be praised in order to accept reality.

You do something stupid expect to be told about it. I don't see why that is so controversial.

While an ardent remainer I attempted to muse on this subject objectively whilst on my walk this morning. Two things really struck a chord - the magnitude of which is arguably unprecedented in modern history.

Firstly, that the result of the referendum has been implemented in the manner that it has, with no checks/balances or seemingly an opportunity for re-appraisal. I think we've probably got three camps - ardent remainers, ardent brexiteers and a middle ground who, whilst not previously too concerned about the impact are probably starting to be worried about their short term prospects. This is conjecture but I'd wager a significant amount that the ardent remainers and "worried middle ground" outnumber the other group - yet we push ahead anyway? Just consider that for a minute, a government is actively pursuing a policy which will adversely impact a large section of it's populace (if not all of it) - unprecedented to my knowledge.

Secondly, the "no deal" scenario. For me there are only two explanations here - incompetence or deliberate act. If the former, what are the repercussions (hint: none) and if the latter, well it's barely worth considering the impact such actions would have in a modern, fully functioning society.

Even those who subscribe to the plethora of benefits waiting just round the corner must understand the inherent level of risk in the approach we're taking?

Anyway, rant over, I'm off to continue work on the escape plan.

Well said. Yesterday we were called ignorant, bigots, racists and Lefty said we should all be punished for exercising our democratic right to disagree with them. Their self righteousness is frightening

Ive been saying since 2017 no deal is exactly what bozo & his chums have wanted all along.

Thats why the likes of Rees mog are so desparate for it along with the billionaire disaster capitalists there's billions to be made & no one to stop them squirrelling it all away in the Caymans.

They used immigration through Farage as an excuse to get some riled up & they bought it hook line & sinker.

Far too many voted these idiots in because of a slogan & didn't actually stop to think if they could actually run a country for the benefit of the people but brexiteers are so entrenched with their belief that it should happen because they voted for it even if it was based on a pack of lies.

Some people are waking up to this now they can see they are robbing the British taxpayer blind they aren't even trying to hide it because they know there's absolutely f all we can do about it until the next election.

All aided & abetted by the British press owned by tax dodging billionaires who are part of the cabal who will make £££billions & billions & billions£££££ from a no deal Brexit.

This is a crock. I have spent the last 4+ years trying to see an upside. Trying to find a positive. I have asked the people I know to tell me what the benefits of Brexit are, the folk on here and I have read far more than I should have on the subject. And yet still here we are, on the brink of a no deal that was explicitly ruled out as Project Fear and not one person has managed to come up with a convincing argument that this is going to make any aspect of anyone's life better. Instead, we get obfuscation, deflection and whataboutery. I remain willing to listen right now. In fact I would be absolutely delighted if someone can offer up a reasoned, evidence based argument as to why this is a good idea. Christ alive I'd make do with someone persuading me that it isn't going to be the clusterfuck that it so obviously is. But there's nothing. An empty vessel sailing on a sea of hope drifting towards a cliff edge.

Never going to happen Adi, purely because it is NOT a good idea and a blind man on a galloping horse can see that
