That’s it then. No Deal

ever thought about going outside and enjoying yourselves a bit?
What makes you think they are not,? Only takes a few seconds to post if you can string a few words together don't you be spending all day composing a reply, get out there and paint the town red

False. I'm entirely wiling to listen. And happy to state why I think Brexit is a bad idea.

The brexiteers must KNOW by now how bad an idea it is which is why they can't defend it at all. Just rely on deflection and insults. This entire thread has had Brexiteers being asked to state benefits of brexit and not one of them has. It tells you all you need to know. I'd have a lot more respect for them if they either defended their position or admitted they were wrong. They seem incapable of either.
£36 billion in annual fees saved.
No legal system above our own.
The ability to tell Google , Starbucks .... If you are in Ireland to save your taxes we will put a sales tax on you.
Take on VW and the other German car makers on the diesel deception in the same way the US has
The issue over environment and agricultural policy is that our laws are stricter than theirs. I don't want them weakening.

There is four you.

To assist 'Four' is a numerical number after 3 and before 5.

That last comment just goes to show your type. Typical.

Point 1 is acceptable. Although should be taken down to 30 billion because we get 6 billion in subsidies. Also brexit has currently cost 200bn. Assuming that we spend nothing more on brexit ever, we still have six and a half years of loss.

What is the issue with the European court? Given the amount of law breaking the current government is capable of.

Point 3. Now its you who can predict the future. Well done.

Point 4 why are we "taking on" German car manufacturers? To defend our own car industry? Which consists of, well, McLaren and, Erm, no I'm struggling now

Where are your sources?
I`m sure some would appreciate a little more detail to confirm the validity of your assertions.
Thanks:) (y)

A) even ST agreed there will be no contribution unless you are suggesting we continue with our payment?
B) I would have thought we were no longer part of the EU courts if I am wrong my apologies.
C) because we can
D) see c

One of the issues here is that you ask for areas we will benefit, I answer , then you disagree.

I watched various Scrooges last night from the 1936 film to Bill Murray to Mrs Scrooge.

I will play the ghost of Xmas past in the FMTTM panto, Lefty 'present' as he puts the most logical arguments, you and ST can be a joint 'to be ' as you can both see into it.

Well we are out of the EU and have been for some time, so I accept it and hope we do get some sort of deal. If not lets hope we can rebuild our manufacturing and build something for the future of our citizens.

Its no use throwing our hands up in the air, that wont get us anywhere.
I dont want things to go bad, theres too many good young people who have their whole future in front of them, and I would like them to have opportunities to have progress and a good life.

Id like to think we can develop and train people in skills and we can become more than just a financial hub and service industry.
Perhaps we have give far to many industries up and sat on our asres to long.
Maybe its time to roll our sleeves up, thats one thing given the chance we are good at.

How exactly, do those 4 points benefit me? A 65 year old married man who does not pay tax as my income is too low. Where is the benefit for people like me?

I see, trying to bring the conversation back to an adult footing, that the EU have just made a concillatory offer to the UK around fishing rights for 12 months v EU air traffic rights for 6 months.

The short term agreement says: We will grant you free access to EU airports for 6 months but we want 12 months free access to UK fishing waters. In other words, we get 6 months as you were access to EU airports and they get 12 months as you were access to our fishing waters.

The short term agreement goes on to say that without this agreement in place UK airlines will NOT be able to land at EU airports from the 1st of January.

The UK would then have to make a decision as to whether to respond in kind, i.e. stop EU airlines landing at UK airports.

This strikes me as a bluff from the EU, but perhaps it was their long term plan, in the event of a no deal. Hit the UK hard and wait for a capitulation from Johnson and his cabinet.

In any event the EU have put the British government in a very sticky situation as whatever Johnson does will look weak, or he looks strong and we can forget about frieght and passenger air traffic to and from the EU. Consider what that would mean for a minute.

The EU would have problems implementing this with all member states as some rely heavily on British tourism and there is some wording in the agreement warning member states NOT to enter into unilateral agreements with the UK.

If Johnson hands over fishing rights for air frieght rights what was all the arguing about over the last 6 months? It makes him look stupid given how much the government have elevated fishing rights in the negotiations.

The upshot is, if we have no european travel it will hit the typical tory voter hard. The folks about to be dumped into food poverty matter less to the Tories and they sledom jet of to magaluf for a jolly.

We are well and truly kippered.
