So if I'm right, your premise is that anyone calling Cummins a liar now had to believe he was "reliable and full of integrity" before his sacking. I doubt anyone believed that as soon a the Barnard castle story surfaced so your argument is unsound. Most I believe were calling for his sacking immediately and I was certainly one of them. What a fool he was to be the architect of the rule and the one to break it. My point remains that it is no surprise that todays comments are an absolute gift for those who hate and despise the Government and I'm not in the least surprised that they are celebrating.

Strange that Kate Bingham who was Chair of the Vaccine task Force and extremely well positioned to negotiate with suppliers is not the first person you thought of. She absolutely hit it out of the park on supply and that performance was the envy of the World. You'd have to help me with Cummins great victory on vaccines - I've failed to find any reference to his involvement.

cummings said Vallance used contacts to get doses of AZ I think on order well before the vaccine task force was even established. He did say she performed well but didn’t face similar bottlenecks when trying to sort things.
The other thing of note was Cummings name dropping Gupta and Heneghan (of great barrington defecation fame) with regards to advising not to have a circuit breaker in September. That cost tens of thousands of lives. Hopefully they get dragged into the inquiry for a grilling. Their misinformation has cost lives.

I suggest you let off the adolescent labeling and explain to the families, friends and loved ones of the 150,000 dead, just how many could have been saved had the "Government" [!?] not acted like a public school prom - and more like a responsible Government of 62,000,000 people.
Being a smart arz isnt helping those still grieving - including Doctors and Nurses who died trying to save the lives of others.
And here it comes. I assume you are referring to "manic lefties." Well that's pretty weak labelling on my part when compared to some of the name-calling normally found in this forum. (Including in your post). Since you are the one making suggestions why don't you explain your position to the public and how you would have solved the situation? I'm sure they'd be gripped and gain much solace from it.

The thing I picked up reading those comments was the amount of people who went into hospital for non covid related illnesses and caught it whilst I'm there. That in itself is also a scandal up there with releasing infected patients into infection free care homes. Nobody will say anything about it though.

I think legally they have to. Some gave a jumble of numbers with no explanation so they 'provided the figures'. South Tees were one of 26 who gave no information (out of 116).

I hope they do Rav but I doubt it the BBC certainly wont & the jury is still out on ITV.
Sadly very sadly we will never know the truth until it can all be revealed in 30 years time.
There's usually a lot of things (in addition to covid) that we don't find out for 30 years and it's possible that some of us won't be around to see them. My fervent hope is that the World sees a conclusion to this crisis and that we can get back to something that we once knew as normal.
