we will win 2 nil we have been cruising for weeks. They were flagging for the last half an hour the other day. We could of changed gear at any time. Cant believe the lack of confidence on here tbh
Archer?Essentially we’ve got 2 cup games (hopefully 3) and although league form can be measured as a yard stick before they kick off I’m of the opinion it’s basically meaningless.
Both teams kind of came over as being quite equal last Monday in terms of power but Boro certainly have all the tools for controlling the game and possibly winning both legs.
My only concern with Boro is options up front as Muniz hasn’t figured and both Forss and Ramsey seem likely to miss out on the two legs. I’m just hoping that McGree can up his output to where he was mid season.
Maybe we get Crooksie to put in a blinder but when all is said and done much of our chances rest upon Chuba and the defence to have great games.

I havent heard any pundit pick usThe main thing worrying me is all the pundits and bookies are saying we will be promoted. I don’t like the almost unanimous backing.
My head tells me if we play like we have all season we have more than enough to win all three games in the playoffs.
The bookies fancy us but the pundits are going for Luton or Coventry. So it will be Sunderland obviously.I havent heard any pundit pick us
All i wish for is
1. We fight for every 1st and 2nd ball. Dont sit and admire
2. Dont mess about in defence if in doubt boot it. Yes i especially mean you tommy, zack and paddy
3. If we do concede. Park the bus for 10 mins. Do not do a west brom or huddersfield.
4. Do not get sent off and put the team under pressure.
Do all these and play our best i think we will get a result we want.
Spot on, it is conceivable that the way we play might see us undone in a cup competition, if it happens it happens. You want us to completely throw away the way we've played since Carrick took over when we've played brilliantly and been in amazing form and start booting it out from the back? That absolutely definitely will not happen, which is a very good thing.
No just to not take risks. Every boro fan i know is concerned about our dedending. Too much to lose. Play the pretty stuff in their half. We play carrickball better at the riverside where were unbeaten in a long while. Lets remember our away resilrs have faltered playing the pretty stuff away from home
Surprised how poor Jones was after his performance in the previous game.On Monday it looked as though Jones was told to take it easy - first half he was very, very poor. Can only recall him trying to outpace their LB on a couple of occasions, mixed success. Looked like a quick player coming back from a hamstring injury and is a bit hesitant to go full pelt.
I hope it's all a bit of Carrick mind games - Coventry now don't pay him any special attention and he rips them apart.
If Jones plays - assume he will - he looks much better with Dijksteel behind. And with Coventry favouring the long ball into the channels for Gyokeres to chase, Dijksteels pace could be invaluable.
I know, I'll spend all morning saying I don't even care, it's all about progression blah blah. What is it about us fans, we spend all season hoping and praying we get in the play offs, then when we do, we get so friggin jittery about it
